WHAT IS A CASCAS?
CASCAS (also known as "Asalato" or "Kashaka") is a versatile percussion instrument designed for portability, intricate rhythms, and dynamic play. It enhances hand-eye coordination, strengthens the wrist, hand, and forearm, and serves as an excellent fidget tool for stress relief and mental focus.
Each CASCAS is meticulously 3D-modeled in Blender and precision 3D-printed using a high end 3D Printer, ensuring a highly durable design.
The screw-based rope attachment allows for quick and effortless disassembly and reassembly, making customization seamless.
Unlike mass-produced CASCAS models made from cheap, fragile plastic, JAM41WORLD CASCAS are crafted for both durability and aesthetic appeal. Their balanced, high-quality sound rivals traditional gourd-based CASCAS—yet they remain affordable at just $14. This level of craftsmanship is made possible through the innovative design of Jamal Corrie at JAM41WORLD.
For even greater durability, each CASCAS can be coated in a thick layer of resin, providing extra protection and longevity. To upgrade your CASCAS, simply select RESIN ARMOR before checkout.
Designed and made in the USA by Jamal Corrie at JAM41WORLD.
About the RUNESTONE CASCAS
The artistic design of the Runestone was crafted by French sculptor Léo Caillard, renowned for his marble sculptures. The Runestone project, a prominent initiative within the Bitcoin Ordinals ecosystem, was conceptualized and led by the pseudonymous NFT historian Leonidas. Leonidas is also recognized for founding Ord.io, a platform dedicated to Bitcoin Ordinals. Caillard contributed the design under a Creative Commons license, emphasizing the permanence of art in both physical and digital realms.
Jamal Corrie, founder of JAM41WORLD, discovered the Runestone online, making it his first remixed design while developing his CASCAS models. In March 2025, he released a remixed version of the original Runestone by Léo Caillard on various 3D printing platforms, allowing artists to freely recreate and print it. This initiative honors the tradition of artistic permanence and collaboration, reinforcing the spirit of open-source creativity.
